Trump Announces the Termination of DACA Program

Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) is an organization that works to provide youths that have attained some prerequisites an opportunity to live and works within the United States. DACA works to provide the youth a social security number that is renewable after two years. The social security number pre3vent them from deportation and offer them the opportunity to work in the United States. Moreover, they are permitted to acquire a driving license and access the in-state tuition fees.

As earlier reported, a letter by the Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to the Trump administration requested the rescinding of the DACA program by September 15. It threaded legal actions in the case the demand fails to be met. Though, the process is meant to be phased off rather than an instant termination. The already existing in the program will not be allowed to apply for renewals whereas there will not be new applications. Some nine attorneys and the governor of the Red state inscribed their names on the letter.
