InnovaCare Health: Talking Penelope Kokkinides’s Attributes

The medical world is extremely complex, but people know that it’s important. People know that proper healthcare is a big deal and that everyone needs quality medical care. While healthcare is constantly being discussed in politics, people don’t really talk about quality medical care.

Everyone seems obsessed with making sure everyone can afford medical care. The bigger problem is what kind of medical care are people getting in general. Money always seems like it should be the issue, but people aren’t noticing that doctors are okay with offering their patients sub par health advice and putting them on drugs just to shut them up.

Once people understand that being healthy means not being on drugs, things will probably change. Unfortunately, that day is nowhere near and no one is even trying to figure that out or tell other people. Sadly, the current healthcare management environment is destined to stay complex and unhelpful.

There is a bit of good news; there are companies out there that want people to be genuinely healthy. They’re not being lazy and they’re not trying to make money. InnovaCare Health is a company that actually cares about its patients. Every physician and team leader at InnovaCare Health cares about their patients.

Penelope Kokkinides is the current Chief Administrative Officer at the company. She worked for InnovaCare Health over a decade ago but left because she wanted to pursue other opportunities with other companies. She rejoined InnovaCare Health in 2015, but her previous COO position was already filled.

Like many of the high-ranking leaders at InnovaCare Health, Penelope has over 20 years of health care experience. Most of her specialty lies in working with government programs like Medicaid and Medicare. If she’s working with one of those programs, she’s working with experts from all over the managed care industry.

Penelope Kokkinides is also set apart by the number of degrees she holds. She has the most degrees out of everyone that isn’t a practicing physician. She holds one Bachelor’s degree and three Master’s degrees. She earned her Bachelor’s from Binghamton University.

Two of her Master’s degrees came from Columbia University School of Public Health. The other came from New York University. After earning her degrees, she quickly made her way to the top of the managed care industry.
