Jennifer Walden was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She graduated from high school and went on to attend the Medical Branch at the University of Texas. Upon completing her studies at the University of Texas, she moved on to take up a fellowship at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. Dr. Jennifer Walden was able to build up her own practice in New York City which she operated for almost eight years. In 2011, she moved back to her hometown to open her own practice. Dr. Jennifer Walden began practicing plastic surgery in 2004 with her main focus on cosmetic surgery.
This includes breast augmentations, face and eyelid lifts, and nose jobs. She is also known to perform liposuction and other surgeries that are known to be minimally invasive procedures. Jennifer Walden believes that being a female plastic surgeon does have its advantages since more than half of all plastic surgeries are performed on women. Most of these women that come in for the different surgeries don’t want to look like a Barbie doll, they just want to be a better self. She had explained that even though she had taken many classes as an undergraduate in the psychology field, she still had a goal of helping many women. She wants to help women have a better quality of life and more self-confidence and changing their problem areas that each and every woman wants to improve and this will help with this.
